Session #2: Sunday, July 4th - Thursday, July 8th, 2010

One of the countries premier lacrosse teaching camps for boys and girls ages 11-18. You can elect to be a Resident or Day Camper. Players are grouped by age and ability. In addition to the outstanding instruction, there are social activities such as nightly pizza, raffles, and contests. There also is a fully stocked camp store for all your lacrosse needs.

Instruction and Staff
Boys Camp
Dan Lawrence, associate head coach at Maritime College (SUNY) will be the boys’ summer camp director. The boys' staff will also include, but is not limited to: Andrew Fink, head coach at Mt Ida College; Casey D'Annolfo, head coach at Taft; plus other college, prep school, and high school coaches as well as a few select college players to be named very soon.

Girls Camp
Michelle Mason has been named the girl’s summer camp director for World Class Lacrosse. Michelle is in her second year as the head coach at Iona College. She was the former head coach at Keene State. Michelle brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership and maturity to camp. She possesses great energy, passion, and an attitude for teaching, which is the core goal of our camps.

As head coach, Mason led the Owls (Keene State) to two consecutive winning seasons including a 13-8 mark in 2008. She was 21-14 in her two seasons, the highest winning percentage of the program's five head coaches. In 2005, Mason served as an assistant coach before taking over the program. As a player, Mason had no rivals as a record-breaking attacker for the Owls. A three-time All-LEC all-star, the Fairport, New York, native established Keene State career goal (202), assists (82), and point (284) records. She also rewrote the Keene State women's soccer record book during her four seasons as the Owls' starting goalie. Mason holds a Keene State women's soccer record for most wins (66) and saves (437) in a career. The Fairport, NY native led KSC to a pair of NCAA women's soccer tournament berths and was a four-time All-LEC and three-time All-New England honoree.

World Class Lacrosse has a great curriculum for the girls, regardless of their level of play. The girls’ staff will provide a safe, and fun learning environment learning for all those in attendance. The girls' staff will include college, prep school, and high school coaches as well as a few select college players.

Instruction
Our ratio of campers to staff is 7:1 which creates a wonderful teaching environment. There will be individual/group instruction as well as theory and team play. We will have on-going team and individual competitions throughout the sessions. All campers will receive a detailed written evaluation of their skill level and what they need to do to constantly improve their game. At our closing ceremonies we will announce some special awards, as well as the players named to the WCL All-Star Team.

Our Exclusive "15 minutes of FAME™"
World Class Lacrosse continues to be a camp pioneer with our exclusive "15 minutes of fame™" for every player that attends our overnight camps. In addition to the excellent instruction everyone receives at World Class Lacrosse Camps, each camper will have the opportunity to be taught privately in a one on one environment by one of our World Class Lacrosse professionals. This will be your "15 minutes of fame". You and only you will be have your coach's 100% attention for a private lesson of your choice. You can fine tune your face-off or draw, your question mark, rocker step, stick protection, shooting skills, dodging, checking, stick tricks, you name it....we're all yours!

"I wanted to thank you for the amazing week at camp. World Class Lacrosse really IS world class. During the past few days I have learned so much, I have refined so many skills and became confident of my ability as a leader. I do not know if you intended campers to realize that, but I did. In addition, the staff was amazing, every single person knew what they were talking about, it wasn't like previous camps I went to where the staff just said the basics. The coaches went into great detail on how to do one thing or another and do it well."

Blake, Madison, CT
